Bangladeshi umpires Enamul Hoque Moni and Mahbubur Rahman are due to leave here for Sri Lanka later Sunday night to conduct three-day first class and one-day Premier League matches over a period of one month under the BCB's umpires exchange program with the Sri Lanka.

Two Sri Lankan umpires -- Athula Senanayake and Sagara Gallage -- are already in the capital to conduct national cricket league matches under the same program.

Bangladesh men's, women's team earns victory in 38th Chess Olympiad

Bangladesh Men's and Women's teams won their third round matches in the 38th Chess Olympiad at Dresden in Germany on Saturday.

Bangladesh men's team beat Libya by 3-1 points, while Bangladesh Women's team outplayed Nigeria by straight 4-0 points.

In the men's section, Enamul Hossain Razib, Abdullah Al Rakib and Minhajuddin Ahmed Sagar won their respective matches while Abu Sufian Shakil lost the other match.

In the women's group, Shamima Akhter Liza, Nazrana Khan Eva, Syeda Shabana Parvin Nipa and Tanima Parvin won their matches.

In the 4th round matches on Sunday, Bangladesh Men's team play against Denmark while women's team take on Australia.
