Finance and Planning Adviser Dr AB Mirza Azizul Islam yesterday advised businessmen to take up sector-wise problems to a secretary- level committee for quick resolve of those problems.

Headed by Finance Secretary-the committee has formed to monitor the impact of global economic recession.

"Notify sector-wise problems to the secretary-level committee," he told a delegation of importers led by FBCCI President Annisul Huq at the Ministry of Finance.

The delegation apprised the adviser of the problems of import business due to falling prices of commodities in the international market as the fallout of global financial crisis.

Annisul Huq told reporters that they have apprised the adviser of the impact on import business.
