A three-member team of Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) visited the Department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Engineering (PMRE) of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) here on Tuesday, a BUET press release said on Wednesday.

The team was led by Senior Advisor for Education and Research Department of NORAD Tove Kvil and accompanied with Stin Thomassen of Quality Assurance Department of NORAD and first secretary of Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka Ingrid T Haug.

The purpose of the visit was to evaluate the progress of NOMA scholarship programme in the PMRE department and informed the department about launching a new programme under NORAD, the press release said.
