SJIBL workshop on 'Performance Evaluation thru' Uniform Financial Rating System' held NATION BUSINESS REPORT Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) organised a workshop on Performation Evaluation through "Uniform Financial Rating System" on November 8 at the Head Office of the bank. The workshop was inaugurated by Muhammad Ali, Managing Director of SJIBL, while ATM Nasiruddin, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank was the keynote speaker. Participated by all branch managers, deputy managers, head and in-charges of various divisions of head office of the bank, the workshop was addressed, among others as guest speakers from Bangladesh Bank, Md Mofizuddin Chowdhury, General Manager, SM Rabiul Hasan, Deputy General Manager and Md Zahir Hussain, Deputy Director of Deptt of Offsite Supervision. Deputy Managing Directors of the bank Md Jillur Rahman and Md Mukhter Hossain were also present. The speakers mainly focused on the six dimensions of the Uniform Financial Rating Systems, particularly on Capital Adequacy, Assets Quality, Management Standard, Earnings, Liquidity and Sensitivity. The core objective of the workshop was to disseminate knowledge on the techniques and tools and how the performance of a bank is evaluated based on the above six critical elements.
