Justice, not charity is needed Mary Wollstonecraft (1759-97) in A Vindication of the Rights of Woman (1792) says: "It is justice, not charity, that is wanting in the world." This is what I want to remind the president-elect of USA, Barack Obama. The underdogs of the world do not need that much the supposed benevolent and philanthropic interventions of the rich nations including USA in their countries. What is needed to ensure peace and prosperity in the world is JUSTICE. I feel extremely happy with the election results and hope that Obama will not disappoint the people of the world who had been waiting so eagerly to see him victorious. May God help Obama to follow the primordial principle of justice in administering his duties and in formulating his foreign policies as the President of the United States of America!
