3 killed in road accident in Tangail

Three people were killed in a road crash at Pakulla under Mirzapur upazila in Tangail yesterday morning.

Police and local people said a Dhaka-bound truck from North Bengal tried to overtake another lorry and hit it from behind leaving three people killed on the spot.

The dead were identified as driver and helper of truck Nadim, 40, and Ramzan, 22, and a potato trader, Mohammad Mostafa.

A case was filed with police.
