Career related show 'Visa Apnar Agami' to be aired on Banglavision at 9:05pm today. Sharmin Lucky has presented the show, while Ushnish Chakraborty has produced the programme.

In each episode of the show, a specific subject is selected to focus on for the careerists. In the show established personalities are invited to attend and shared their experiences. They will also give suggestions for the audience. Besides, there are other segments like career clips, career window, job search and letter content in the show.

Alliance Française launched a new course titled 'Art & Event Management' under the banner of its 'Ecole de design d'interieur' department. The inaugural ceremony of the course was held on November 4 at its auditorium in Dhanmondi in the city. It is worth mentioning that this course is the first of its kind in the country, which would bring some positive impacts in the aesthetic quality of events in Bangladesh. Patrick Branko, the First Secretary of the French Embassy in Bangladesh was present as the chief guest, while Sara Zaker, adviser of the course was present as the guest of honour on the occasion.

Architect Taufiqur Rahman Khan, coordinator of the course, conducted the program.

Patrick Branco in his speech said, "Arts management is becoming an important and growing field. Indeed, cultural institutions face more and more competition and economic concerns. Arts and cultural organisations are often competing for government funding and of course, for public attention. Companies are now far more concerned by their image and try to incorporate an artistic touch to all events they organise. Therefore, the cultural sector is now playing a key role in economy, and requires a specific academic background. Talented and creative people, having at the same time useful administration skills, can make the difference, and get doors open for wonderful projects."

The fifth episode of drama serial 'Varabari Barabari' to be aired on ATN Bangla at 9:20pm today. Nazrul Islam has scripted the drama, while Humayun Faridi has directed the serial. Humayun Faridi, Suborna Mustafa, Zahid Hasan, Tania Ahmed, Zahid Hasan Shovon, Mir Sabbir, Rumana, Zitu Ahsan, Sumaiya Shimu, among others, performed in the serial.

Story of Varabari Barabari:

Owner of the house is living along with his daughter. Mum Rahman and Razi have been living in that house for many days. When another flat was vacant Razi wanted to rent it for his cousin. But house owner did not allow this as because he was bachelor. Then Zafri and his family took the flat. But his younger brother was also bachelor. Then problems began. Razi wanted to drive Zafri and his family. Then competition started between these two families. The drama found new dimension and continued with various incidents.

The 18th episode of drama serial 'Priyodarshini' to be aired on Rtv at 9:40pm today. Pranab Bhatta has written the story of the drama, while Nazrul Islam and Arun Chowdhury have jointly scripted and directed the drama serial.

Dilara Zaman, Suborna Mustafa, Tazin Ahmed, Amirul Islam, Sharmily Ahmed, Apurbo, Azizul Hakim, Golam Farida Chhanda, Chumky, among others, performed in the serial.

Story of Priyodarshini:

Story of the drama serial is based on the lifestyle, activities of women. Women's feelings, emotional values, needs, joys, pains and other matters were reflected in the drama serials. Of these women, someone is mother, someone is sister, someone is bride or some other is girlfriend.

In one hand, mother is searching her daughter, on the other hand daughter found her lover and established a new life.

Besides, conflicts between husband and wife are found in the drama serial.

Mehreen’s solo album released

Celebrity pop artiste Mehreen has released her sixth solo album titled 'Tumi Acho Boley' under the banner of Laser Vision at a function at ETC in Dhanmondi in the city on November 6.

The album tuned and arranged by two of this generation's most talented musician-cum-composers, Habib Wahid and Fuad Al-Muqtadir.

The album launching ceremony was formally inaugurated by vocalist, music composer Ustad Shudhin Dashgupta and artist Mustafa Monowar.

Mazharul Islam, Managing Director of Laser Vision, Intikhab Mahmud, CEO of INMA Marketing Solution, Soma Zahid, Executive Director of ETC Bangladesh, artiste Mehrin herself, among others, were present on the occasion.

After the inauguration both Mustafa Monowar and Ustaad Shudhin Dashgupta hoped the success of the artist.

Then Mehreen exchanged words and received greetings form her fans at the program, whom she gave autograph on her newly released album.

Along with Habib Wahid and Fuad Al Muqtadir, a few number of the album of 10 songs are also tuned by Jahangir Haider Dipon and D J Aks of Mumbai and Dubai. Lyrics are generated by Saqui Ahmed, Upal Islam, Jahangir haider Dipon, Shayan Kabondha. The tracks more likely to be appreciated by listeners include, the title song along with the numbers titled, 'Omon Koreyb Noy,' 'Mon Ovilashi,' 'Shunnota,' 'Mayabi e raat.'

Mehreen considered this album will reflect the appreciation and admiration that she has received from the fans for a long time. "I am Mehrin because you are there," she remarked at the

function.

Fresh from performing with Madonna, Britney Spears plans on kickin' it in Kentwood for a while. E! News has confirmed that the Circus performer, her two little boys and her ever-present pop Jamie hopped a flight to Louisiana Friday morning to get a jump on a little holiday-season togetherness with the rest of the Spears clan, in what Brit's camp has recently referred to as her hometown of choice.

And not only will Britney be reunited with little sis Jamie Lynn and niece Maddie, but this is the first time she's been allowed to leave California with her brood in tow since Kevin Federline was awarded full custody of 3-year-old Sean Preston and 2-year-old Jayden James.

A source tells E! that Britney was 'tearful'-in a good way!-when she got the OK to travel with her sons. The group took off from Van Nuys Airport in a private plane, according to OK! magazine, which first reported the cross-country venture.

While the number of passengers may have been up in the air until recently, this trip has been months in the making. One family insider said in June that Britney was hoping to get all the Spears spawn together as soon as the court would allow it.

Karan Johar asked Tarun to re-shoot 'Dostana’

As far as now it is known to everyone that 'Dostana' is about to release on 14th November, 2008. However, there is buzz that Karan Johar was not happy with the climax of the movie and so he asked director Tarun Mansukhani to re-shoot it.

It is also known that, as once again moving to Miami does not seem to be possible so a set was created in 'Film City' to re-shoot the climax of the film. However, Tarun denies this and sticks to the fact that everything is fine and the movie will be released on the confirmed date. Well, how good the climax is going to be can be known only after watching the film but before the climax, its the overall movie that is awaited. - Agency
