The first Junior South Asian Tennis Championship, organized by Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF), begins Monday at the Ramna National Tennis Court Complex here with five countries participating in it.

The participating countries are India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and host Bangladesh.

BTF president and health secretary AMM Nasiruddin will formally inaugurate the five-day meet at 4:30pm.

The matches will be held as per rules of Junior Davis Cup of International Tennis Federation (ITF) and each country will play the league basis match.

The players of the participating countries are due to reach here Saturday.
