Clarification

The last two sentences of our front page editorial 'Yes, we can' published yesterday should read: "He assured that a new dawn of American leadership was at hand and declared that the true strength of America came neither from the might of arms nor the scale of wealth but from the enduring power of ideals. Words like these have not been heard from an American President for a long time."

The last sentence as published was incomplete due to a computer error.
