A court sent a rapist, who allegedly deflowered a disabled young girl, to jail on Monday, court police said.

The allged rapist was identified as Sujan Dey, 19, son of Sonaton Dey of Waggachhara village under Kaptai upazila in the district.

Kaptai police arrested the allged rapist on November 02 following the case filed on October 28 by mother of the victim, police said.

The young boy violated the 15-year-old disabled girl at Waggarchar while returning home from temple performing worship, police added, quoting the case.
