A son-in-law was killed by his father-in-law in Bhadrabila union under Narail sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon. The dead was identified as Srikanta Biswas, 28, Son of Shantiram Biswas of Ramshidhi village of Bhadrabila union under Narail Sadar upazila. The killer father-in-law was identified as Harish Chandra Mallik,40, of same village. Locals said, Srikanta married the daughter of Harish following a love affair without the consent of bride's father. Very often both the families were involved in quarrelling.

Sub-Inspector Harunur Rashid , duty officer of Narail police station told, Harish beat his son-in-law Srikanta with wooden stick following a quarrel on Sunday afternoon. Srikanta died on the spot. Later, the body was sent to Narail Sadar Hospital for autopsy on Monday. A case was filed accusing five with Narail police station in this connection. Police could not arrest anybody till writing of their report.
