A discussion meeting was held in Gopalganj on the occasion of the National Sanitation Month 2008 organised by the Public health Engineering Department Gopalganj recently.

A rally was brought out from Gopalganj District Shilpakala Academy Premises on October 21 and paraded main roads of the Gopalganj town led by Abdul Wahed Sikder Executive Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department Gopalganj district and Bidhan Krishna Dey, Assistant Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department Gopalganj.

It was addressed, among others, by Mohammad Abdul Kuddus Superintendent of Police Gopalganj Mohammad Sirajuddin Ahmed, Chief Executive Officer Gopalganj District Council, Dr AKM Reazul Karim, Civil Surgeon Gopalganj, Mr Bidhan Krishna Dey Assistant Engineer PHED Gopalganj.
