ETV Chairman receives Sher-e-Bangla Padak Entertainment Report Chairman of the private television channel Ekushey Television (ETV) Abdus Salam received Sher-e-Bangla Padak 2008 at a function at the National Press Club on October 29, says a press release. Former adviser of the Caretaker Government CS Shafi Sami was present as chief guest, while former Information secretary and former chairman of BTRC Marghub Morshed chaired the programme. Abdus Salam got the award for his contribution to make the television channel as successful media.
