The National Board of Revenue (NBR) yesterday has extended the deadline for submission of income tax returns for six more days.

The NBR will accept the income tax returns from the individual taxpayers till November 6, 2008.

The deadline for submission of income tax return, which was scheduled to end on September 30, was already extended by a month till October 31.

Informed sources said NBR got very little response from the individual taxpayers regarding income tax return that led to the extension of the deadline for a second time.
