Right-arm pacer Mahbubul Alam Robin said that his dream came true after making his test debut against New Zealand in the 2nd Test of the BRAC Bank Series at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium (SBNS) here Tuesday.

Although it was almost sure that Robin is making his debut in the match as a 3rd seamer but the tall pacer had to wait till the 4th day as the first three days of the current test were completely washed out due to inclement weather.

"It's a nice feeling. I had a long dream to play for the country and at last it came true. I have tried to give what I possessed," said Robin at a post-match briefing Tuesday evening.

About his team's performance, the 24-year old pacer said: "It was not a very good end for us on the 4th day but I think we have good enough batsmen to handle the situation."
