Prof Abu Hossain new VC of JN Varsity BSS, Dhaka Professor Dr Abu Hossain Siddiq of the Management Studies Department of Dhaka University was appointed new vice-chancellor of Jagannath University yesterday for the next four years. A Notification of the Education Ministry said Prof Siddiq has been discharging his duties as the acting VC and Treasurer of the same university. Prof Siddiq has been in the teaching profession at Dhaka and Rajshahi Universities since 1972.
