A medical board, formed to examine Pankaj Kumar Debnath, General Secretary of Swechasebok League, has recommended sending him abroad for better medical treatment immediately.

The medical board headed by Professor Dr Sirajul Karim, Chairman of Surgery Department of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University ((BSMMU), in a written statement claims that there are some material substance inside Pankaj's body and spine. As a result, his physical condition is worsening day by day.

" We are of the opinion for urgent MRI of the patient. But in presence of fero magnetic metallic substance in his spinal and abdominal region, MRI is not possible in our country. So the patient needs to be transfered to any better equipped centre abroad," said the statement.
