Four persons were arrested with 211 bottles of phensidyl and 3.5 kgs ganja from Parbatipur upazila of the district during two separate anti-drugs drives by the officials of narcotics control on Saturday.

Officials said they arrested one Joynal, 35, and his wife Kamala, 30, with the ganja from railway colony on Saturday night.

The other two Abed Khan, 38, and his brother Arif Khan, 32, was caught with the phensidyls from Aftabnagar Colony. The arrested persons and the seized drugs were handed over to the Parbatipur Police.
