A team of Narcotics Control officials conducted separate drives at different areas of Rupganj upazila in Narayanganj and arrested Kazi Mia, son of Farman Ali of Bholanath village of this upazila along with 102 litre indigenous wine on the 19th October and handed him over Rupganj thana.

Local sources said "Kazi Mia along with his associates have been selling illegal drug and other narcotics for many days. None could dare to protest their illegal business as they have closed relation with the law enforces.
