Lacicard, the 4th generation calcium channel blocker, is clearly better than conventionally used amlodipine & is first time manufactured in Bangladesh. Lacidipine has much less potential to cause edema than amlodipine. It works more on blood vessels than on heart muscle, which is beneficial for the heart failure patients.
