The Private-University Football tournament, organised by Auritro and sponsored by Mentors' Education, gets underway on Sunday at Bangladesh Army Stadium.

Northern University will take on North South University in the opening match with National Sports Council secretary Akbar Hossain declaring the meet open.

A total of 1o universities, split into three groups, will play the group-phase matches and later top two teams from Group A along with two champions from Group B and Group C will qualify for the semifinals.

Group A : Northern University, North South University, Independent University Bangladesh and Dhaka International University

Group B : IBAIS University, Gono Bishwabidyalay and United International University

Group C : Asian University of Bangladesh, University of Asia Pacific and International University of Business Agriculture and Technology
