The meritorious students of Lohagora upazila were accorded reception at Ramnarayan Public Library auditorium in the town on Thursday.

Lohagora Municipality organised the function. With Lohagora Mayor Advocate Nawaz Ahmed Thakur in the chair the function was addressed by Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Moshiur Rahman was present as chief guest. Principal of Lohagora Adarsha Degree College Kazi Ibne Hasan, educationists Moazzem Hosain, SM Hayetuzzaman, Arobinda Roy, among others, spoke on the occasion.

A total of 114 SSC and HSC level meritorious students of 17 educational institutions of Lohagora upazila were awarded with prize bonds and certificates.
