BNP Joint Secretary of central committee Babu Chandra Roy called upon the all leaders and workers to come forward to strength the hand of the former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. He also demanded to free all political prisoners, to make congenial atmosphere of parliamet election and to withdraw emergency in a workers' meeting of BNP upazila unit at Bonapara Degree College field in Baraigram upazila of Natore district on October 13.

Former Member of Parliament (MP) Principal Md Ekramul Alam presided over the meeting with the Joint Secretary Gayeshwar Chandra Roy was present as chief guest and the Organising Secretary of BNP central committee Md Shahjahan was present as special guest.

It was also addressed among others by Natore district Secretary Md Shahidul Islam (Bachchu), Baraigram Upazila Secretary Md Hazrat Ali, Professor Md Sazder Rahman, Headmaster Abdul Kader (B.Sc), Md Abul Khayer, Md Nurul Islam and Bonpara Pouro Mayor Md Sanaullah Nur Babu. Joint Secretary Gayeshwar Chandra Roy while was returning from Rajshahi to Dhaka, he attended this meeting.
