The National Lubricants Open Table Tennis Competition began yesterday at the Engineers Recreation Centre. Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association Engineer Kutubuddin Ahmed formally opened the table tennis meet as the chief guest.

A total of 192 participants are taking paet in the five-day long table tennis competition.

The events of the tournament are : Men's singles, women's singles, team event (men), team event (women ), boys' singles (undr-16) and engineers' singles.

The competition comes to end on October 18.
