The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) registered substantial gains for the second consecutive day yesterday, with investors regaining confidence over the panic-stricken market.

Brokers, however, cautioned investors about overpriced issues to avert possible losses.

They said the market was rising significantly after overcoming the panic generated from the global financial crisis, but the already overpriced shares were gaining further. "Any heavy price correction could cause substantial losses to the investors," said one of them.

Brokers said few shares having good fundamentals but remained under-priced since long were seen coming up to the forefront during the day's trading.
