Jose Angel Ziganda became the Spanish first division's second coaching casualty within a week after he was sacked by Osasuna on Monday.

"Jose Angel Ziganda will today end his collaboration with Club Atletico Osasuna. The club will name a successor in the next few hours," a club statement said.

After six league matches - which includes four draws and two defeats - Osasuna sit in 16th place with just four points.

Ziganda, who arrived at the club in 2006, is the second Spanish top flight coach to be sacked this season following Manolo Zambrano's sacking by Recreativo Huelva last week.
