Tripti Dutta, a Bangladeshi shooter from BKSP, finished fifth in the women's 10-meter Air Rifles shooting of the 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games scoring 384 in the Indian town of Pune on Monday.

Sudhir Binte Aqilah of Singapore won the event's gold medal scoring 398, Monica Fyfe of Canada got the silver with 394 and Farhana Binti Abdul Hali Nur Ayuni of Malaysia won bronze scoring 392.

Bangladesh is taking part in four disciplines - swimming, weightlifting, shooting and boxing.

The Bangladesh contingent left Dhaka on October 9 and will return home on Oct 19.
