The admission test of different faculties of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) for the session 2008-09 will be held on November 20.

The admission form fee was fixed at Tk 500 for "Ka' unit included Engineering Departments and Urban and Region Planning Department while Tk 600 for "Kha" unit included aforesaid two disciplines and Architecture Department.

The admission form will be available at its Registrar office from October 14 to November 1.

The students who passed HSC or equivalent examination this year with minimum GPA 4 will be able to appear in the admission test.

Besides, the admission seekers must have to get GPA 4 in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and GPA 3.5 in English in the HSC and equivalent examination.

A total of 885 seats have been reserved for the admission of the first year students in the university.
