Housewife killed for dowry in Rupganj

One Hajera Khaton, 22, housewife, was strangulated to death at her father-in-law's house of Purbachal area at Rupganj in Narayanganj on 26th September last allegedly by her husband Badal Mia.

Police sources said, Hazera Khaton was killed for dowry, Hazera's mother filed a case acusing four persons. The police arrested Badal Mia and 4 others were absconded. The body of the deceased was sent to the morgue for autopsy.
