Ruposhi Bangla Mohila Sangstha (RBMS) has distributed 300 pieces of sarees and semai and sugar among 500 distressed women and beneficiaries of RBMS at its head office in Rajshahi on Friday morning. The RBMS authorities also distributed among 40 boys and 30 girls taka 200 and taka 300 each respectively and school dresses.

RBMS president Mrs. Badrunnessa, Vice-President Dr. Wahida Khatun, Member Dr. Israt Ara, Treasurer Muslima Khatun, Advocate Shamim Ara Billah, Initiator Professor Abdul Momin and Chief Initiator and Executive Director of RBMS Abdul Mobin Babu were present during the programme.

Certificate award ceremony of 26th junior staff course of Navy held

Certificate award ceremony of the 26th Junior Staff Course of Bangladesh navy was held on Thursday atNaval Academy, Patenga, Chittagong, says an ISPR press release.

Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Sarwar Jahan Nizam attended the ceremony as Chief guest and gave away certificates among the officers.

13 mid level officers of Armed Forces including 10 officers from Bangladesh Navy, 01 officer from Bangladesh Airforce and 02 officers from coastgurd participated in this 12 weeks Course. Addressing on the occasion, Navy Chief emphasises on the significance of this course in the challenging military profession and said 'participating officers would gain better management skill, expressing ability and maximum utilisation of available resources after this Course' navy Chief called upon all the participants to discharge their duty with honesty and integrity.

Among others commodore Commanding Chittagong Commodore M Nasir and high officials of Bangladesh Navy wee present on the occasion.
