Sub-Inspector (SI) of Bonpara Highway Thana Md. Masudur Rahman arrested one smuggler and recovered 20 bottles of Indian smuggled Phensidyl from Dhaka-bound night coach on Pabna-Natore highway of Rajapur Bazar under Baraigram Upazila in Natore district on Friday night.

The arrestee was identified as Md. Shahidul Islam (28), son of late Jahurul Islam at Ibrahimpur village under Sailkapura Upazila in Jhenidah district.

Acting on a tip-off a team of police raided the bus Kanti Paribahan (Jhenidah-J-11-0019) and arrested the smuggler with 20 bottles of Phensidyl. A case was filed with Baraigram Thana in this connection.
