Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three (rpt) three.

All fishing boats and trawlers over north bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.

According to the warning message issued by Storm Warning Centre, the well marked low over southwestern parts of Bangladesh between Barisal, Patuakhali, Madaripur and Khulna regions moved north north/ westwards and now lies over Ishurdi and adjoining areas.

It is likely to move in a north westerly direction under its influence steep pressure gradient persists over north bay.

Squally weather is likely to continue over north bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh and may affect the maritime ports.
