Film: Ek takar bau to be released on Eid in 64 districts

Film 'Ek takar bau' to be released on Eid day in 80 cinema halls of 64 districts of the country at a time. This will be a record for a film to release in all districts of the country.

PA Kajal has directed the film under the banner of 'Riddhi Talkies.'

Sumon Dey, Executive Producer of the film, said, "Demand of the film is unacceptable. But we cannot fulfill all's demands. We hope this film will break all records of the Eid films."

Shakib Khan, Shabnur, TV star Rumana, Shanu Shiba, Subrata, Kabila, Iliash Kobra, little star Dighi and film star Razzak, among others, performed in various roles in the film.

Nisa Tasnim Sheikh is the producer of the film. Shawkat Ali Khan Emon has composed music for the film and Mojibul Haque Bhuiyan was in camera, Habib in dance direction and Chunnu in action.

Eid Magazine: Eider bajna bajere on ATN Bangla

Special Eid magazine 'Eider bajna bajere' to be aired on ATN Bangla at 10:45pm on the third day of the Eid programmes. Khondaker Ismail has directed the magazine. He will also present the show. On the occasion of Eid festival the programme was shoot at the ATN Bangla's Bashundhara Studio with five camera.

A colourful song written by recent deceased Abdullah Al Mamun will be present by three band stars - pop emperor Azam Khan, popular band singer Hasan and Biplob. Singer Eva Rahman will present a song composed by Ayub Bachchu. Singer Mila will present a new song composed by Fuad. A special dance will be present by 15 dance artistes. Model cum actor Shoeb and film actress Nipun will perform in an advertisement for the show. Therefore popular comedy actor Anis will present his performance in the show.

Event: Aurthohin releases new album after 5 years

After breaking of five years popular band group Aurthohin released its new album 'Asomapto1.' The launching ceremony of the album was held at the Level-7 of Bashundhara City in the city on Thursday.

Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan Khaled, Owner of G-Series, band members of Aurthohin, music director Fuad Al Muktadir, among others, were present on the occasion. During the last five years, the band faced a great change. Its line-up has been changed. Guitarist Komol of Warefaze band has been included in the present team of Aurthohin. Vocalist of the band Rafa is now playing drums. For the first time, Fuad has performed as music co-producer for the latest album.

There are 10 songs in the album. Founder member, vocal and base guitarist Sumon said, "Audience has a great interest from us after five years. To keep in mind we have made the album with different tunes. As the regularity of the album, we take the song 'Guti.' Besides, we also take our previous album's song 'Chaite paro."

Songs of the album are - 1) 'Asomapto,' 2) 'Chaite paro 2,' 3) 'Shesh gaan,' 4) 'Jodi konodin,' 5) 'Kandbe bishmoye,' 6) 'Chera swapno,' 7) 'Nrikrishto,' 8) 'Anmone,' 9) 'Guti (the final) and 10) 'Fitaser kanna.'

Ranjan, Topu, Sumon, Daffil and Shahan Kobondha are lyricists of the songs.

Present line-up of Aurthohin is: vocal and base - Sumon (base baba), guitar - Komol, guitar and keyboards - Shishir and vocal and drums - Rafa.

Special magazine with the participation of political leaders 'Valobasar Bangl-adesh' to be aired on Channel i at 6:00pm on Eid day.

Zillur Rahman has planned, directed and moderated the programme.

Various activities including recitation, song, dance, cooking and gossiping will be present at the show. Former president AQM Badrudozza Chowdhury, political leaders GM Kader, Nure Alam Siddiqui, Md Nurul Huda, Sheikh Shahidul Islam, Maj (Retd) Ziauddin Ahmed, Ali Newaz Mahmud Khiyam, Mahi B Chowdhury, Manjurul Ahsan Khan, Sadeque Siddiqui, Misbahur Rahman Chowdhury, SA Sultan, Sheikh Shawkat Hossain Nilu, Maj (Retd) Syed Muhammad Ibrahim Bir Protik, Nur Mohammad Khan, Shafiqul Gani Swapan, Abdul Malek Ratan, Shafiul Alam Prodhan, among others, participated in the programme. Therefore, popular singer Ferdous Wahid, cooking expert Keka Ferdousi, film actress Shilpi and others also performed in the show.

Album News: Deadline Music releases Fahim’s new album

Deadline Music has released singer Fahim's new solo album titled 'Byasta' on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

All songs of the album were composed and arranged by Fahim and NmN and all song were recorded and mixed by Nmn. Selim played violin, Faisal, Sohel and Shamuk played guitar and Shahid played flute in the album.

About the album Fahim said, "Music is in my soul and will always be an integral part of my life. This album took around six months to complete. In this album, there is no unique track, which I hope everybody will like."

There are 11 songs in the album. Titles of the songs are - 1) Pakhi, 2) Keno, 3) Jani tumi ashbe, 4) Anuvuti, 5) Byasta, 6) Amar ei gaan, 7) Ekjon, 8) Eka ki, 9) Sagorer, 10) Mone pore jai and 11) Keno 2.

Hollywood: Hayek brings family comedy 'McToms’ to Fox

The Fox network, which has been aiming to bring back the family-comedy-with-a-twist genre of TV series, is developing 'The New McToms,' a hybrid multi- and single-camera half-hour executive produced by Salma Hayek.

Fox has a track record of success with that sort of show, having scored with the multi-camera "Married t With Children" and single-camera "Malcolm In the Middle."

Written by Boyce Bugliari and Jamie McLaughlin, 'McToms' centres on a conservative matriarch who must face the reality of her three children's ethnically diverse marriages.

ABC Studios, where Hayek's Ventanarosa has an overall deal, is producing the project. "McToms" carries the trademark ethnic flavour that is featured in most projects on Hayek's TV slate, including the ABC comedy-drama "Ugly Betty," which she executive produces. On the reality side, Hayek is developing a wedding-themed reality series with Merv Griffin Entertainment.

Manyata upset over Sanjay kissing Vidya

All's not well in Sanjay Dutt and Manyata's wedded life. Sanjay was caught kissing his co-star Vidya Malvade in Kidnap and the scene hasn't gone down well with Sanjay's wife Manyata, who was enraged with the scene. Though Sanjay tried his best to explain her that the scene is a demand of the film and he could not bypass it, he was not able to convince her and cool off her anger. Sanjay had a hard time convincing his wife.

In the film, Sanjay and Vidya are playing husband and wife and the scene is a must to show their love and togetherness. It is a Sanjay Gadhvi film and he does not allow personal interest to come along the smooth running of any scene.
