Advocate Jahidul Haque, former Deputy Minister for Law, land and shipping, senior leader of Kishoreganj district BNP and ex-secretary and president of Dhaka Bar Association died of old age complications on Saturday morning at his residence in the city.

He was 70.

He was buried on Saturday at his family graveyard after Namaz-e-janaza at Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj.

Advocate Jahidul Haque left behind wife, one son, one daughter and also host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
