Woman and Children Affairs Adviser Rasheda K Chowdhury yesterday underscored the need for making awareness among the mass people about using of domestic products.

Addressing an inaugural function of Eid Fair organised by women entrepreneurs at its premises, she said there is no alternative but to develop domestic production.

Women Entrepreneurs arranged the fair to exhibit the local production in view of coming Eid.

Seven-day-long fair will be opened from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A total of 74 stalls of fabrics, garments, scarf, household items, sarees, three-pieces, and handicrafts and food items took part in the fair.

The officials of the Ministry and NGO`s representatives were, among others, present in the function.
