Speakers at a discussion in the city yesterday said governance with the leadership of the honest, patriotic and pious could build the country a corruption free society.

They also stressed on leadership maintaining the Islamic rules for building Bangladesh as a model and prosperous country.

The discussion meeting styled "lesson of the Holy Ramadan to Build an deal and Prosperous Country" organised by Khelafat Andolan in the city's Paltan area.

Ameer of Khelafat Andolan Moulana Shah Ahmadullah Asraf addressed the discussion as chief guest, while its Secretary General Moulana Zafarullah Khan, organising secretary Abu Jafar Kasemi, among others, also addressed it with city unit Ameer Mujibur Rahman Hamidi in the chair.
