The secretaries -general of the four-party alliance would meet today at the BNP central office at Nayapaltan in the city.

The meeting will start at 3:00pm today. It is first such meeting after the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia from detention.

The meeting is likely to decide the date for going to dialogue with the Election Commission (EC), sources said.

The meeting would also discuss overall political situation, dialogue with the EC for holding parliamentary election ahead of local body polls.

Meanwhile the BNP secretary general Khandker Delwar Hossain informed that they would shortly sit with the EC to fix the date for the dialogue after the meeting with partners of the alliance.
