1,88,889 kg rice sold under OMS in Joypurhat BSS, Joypurat A total of 1,88,889 kg rice were sold under open market sale (OMS) programme in five upazilas of the district in three weeks, District Controller of Food Office sources said. Sources said, the OMS of rice was lunched in the district on August 20 and will continue till October 30. They said for smooth selling of rice under the OMS programme 28 dealer have been appointed in all five upazilas of the district including three sales centers of BDR.
