Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday returned the body of a Bangladeshi national, who was shot dead by them on Wednesday.

The body of Rahidul Islam, 30, son of late Shamsul Haque of Chandail village in Haripur upazila, was handed over to the BDR through a flag meeting at zero line of Haripur frontier.

BSF Basantipur Company Commander Pushpakar and SI Nandakumar were present from the Indian side while BDR Haripur Company commander Subeder Shafiqul Islam and Haripur thana SI Jalal Uddin from Bangladeshi side.
