The 125th birth anniversary of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra was observed with due religious fervour yesterday.

The Satsanga, the platform of devotees of Thakur Anukul, organised an inter-religion discussion meeting at Dhakeshwary temple in the city yesterday.

They offered special prayers for peace of mankind, sang devotional songs and performed rituals on the occasion.

Thakur Anukulchandra is the fountainhead of Satsanga, a non-communal religious and philanthropic institution working in different countries including India and Bangladesh.
