A meeting to celebrate Durga Puja was held by the Upazila Puja Udjapon Committee on 7th September last at the auditorium of Rupganj Upazila in Narayanganj with Nahid Sultana Mollick, Upazila Nirbahi Officer in the chair.

Abu Mohammad Fazlul Karim, OC Rupganj Thana, Krishna Gopal Sharma Secretary, Paritosh Baroi, Sunandra Chandra Sarkar, Sankor Chandra Ghosh, Birash Chandra Pal, Nepal Chandra Roy, Sanda Rani Sarker, members of the Puja Udjapon Committee attended the meeting and addressed. The speakers demanded peaceful admosphere for the Puja Celebration. The Upazila administration has assured that all kinds of security will be provided at the 33 Puja celebration spots all over the Upazila.
