The Truth and Accountability Commission (TAC) Thursday heard eight more individuals, who applied for clemency in return of their ill-gotten wealth.

The three-member Commission headed by Justice Habibur Rahman Khan heard the pleas of eight government officials. They include sub-registrars, postmasters and officials from Titas Gas.

With the hearing of eight persons on the fourth day, the number of persons heard by TAC stood at 26. The TAC heard seven persons on the opening day (Monday) of hearing, four on Tuesday and seven on Wednesday.

The Commission is expected to hear 15 persons on Sunday.
