Ban use of airconditioners

All over the country there is acute power shortage. Every now and then the electric supply is cut. The sufferings of the people know no bounds. Garments and textiles industries, mills and factories, internet, fax and photostate services, printing presses and many small and big electric machineries and equipments remain inoperative for hours together. The economic and financial losses of the country and the people are colossus, beyond description and inexplicable.

Taking into consideration the manifold problems and difficulties of our people especially of vast majority of our poor and middle class people, financial constraint of our government, our demand and supply requirement of electricity it is imperative that we must ensure maximum utility of our meagre supply of electricity for our economic activities and welfare of the majority people.

The government may therefore ban the use of airconditioner in all government and private offices, establishments and private residential houses and enforce use of electric fan only.

However, as a special case with prior permission from the government one may use and run air-conditioners purchasing generators at his own and paying some taxes to the government.

In fact in a poor country like ours we need not luxurious airconditioner when the majority of our people are deprived of basic requirements, civic amenities and facilities, housing, sanitary toilet, electricity and supply of pure drinking water.
