A Bangladeshi young man was killed by unruly Indian Khasia tribesmen at Sonahar border in Goyainghat upazila Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Abdul Gani, 30, son of late Shamsul Alam of Monaikandi village in the upazila.

Local people said the Indian tribal miscreants shot Abdul Gani to death when he went to the Sonahar frontier to collect firewood in the morning.

Police recovered the body in the evening and sent it to local hospital morgue for autopsy yesterday.

A case was filed.
