Bordering Turkistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikstan on the north, China on the extreme north, Pakistan on the south and Iran on the west, Afghanistan is the country of foreign invasions, but retreats also of foreign invaders.

In 1979 the former USSR (now Russia) invaded Afghanistan but she had to withdraw her over half a million troops in 1989 due to fierce resistance by the Afghan freedom fighters.

In 2001 the USA invaded and occupied Afghanistan since then the tough Afghans have been fighting tooth and nail against the foreign hordes.

Over last few decades the freedom fighters of Afghanistan have killed many lackeys and sycophants of foreign powers in Afghanistan like Mohammad Daud, Noor Taraki, Mohammad Hafizullah Amin, Babrak Karmal, Mohammad Najibullah and others. We now wonder how long Hamid Karzai would remain in power ?

US-based Human Rights Watch and many Human Rights Organisations in Europe criticise and condemn the activities of RAB (Rapid Action Ballation) of Bangladesh. But would they tell us if the indiscriminate bombing of Afghan cities, towns and villages and killing of thousands of innocent men, women and children of Afghanistan by US and NATO forces are in the right direction of no violation of human rights, no crime against humanity ? Further, what about the suggestion, opinion and comment of the Human Rights Organisations on the assassinations of so many Afghan leaders as mentioned above ?
