District Police and Toba Group of Dhaka arranged a discussion on "Social rehabilitation of drug peddlers" on the premises of Sadar Thana here on Thursday.

Police Super Harun-or-Rashid attended the function as the chief guest while ASP Abdus Salam, Poura chairman Md Tahidul Islam and local business leader Iqbal Kaisar Mintu were present as the special guests.

Sadar Thana Officer-in-charge Mohammad Jamir Uddin presided over the function.

Journalists, local elite, teachers and guardians were present.

Later, Police Super distributed six rickshaw vans among six drug peddlers.
