Jamaat-e-Islam Bangladesh of Madaripur Zila Committee arranged a delegate meeting in the Muktijoddha Auditorium at 9 AM on August 9. Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujahid, the secretary general and former minister, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Moulana Abdus Sobhan chaired the meeting. Mujahid said that Jamaat never used district administration when it was in power Nobody will be able to drive Jamaat-e-Islam from the land. We wil prevent the handover of primary schools to the NGOs at any cost, he added.

Saiful Alam Milan, the President of Central Committee of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, AKM Masum, the central Rokon, Dr Farid Uddin Ahmed, Hemayet uddin Ahmed, secretary of Madaripur district committee spoke on the occasion. Enayet Hossain conducted the meeting.
