A two-day International Congress on Biotechnology in Animal Reproduction (ICBAR) began at the Shilpacharya Zainul Abedin auditorium of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) in collaboration with ICBAR Japan was held on (6-7) August). National Professor and former Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University was present as chief guest while BAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md Akthar Hossain was present as chief patron.

Eminent Japanese scientist Professor Dr. Gentaro Oguri, President, Association of ICBAR president over the inaugural session while Professor Dr. Tatsubi Suzuki Vice-President, Association of ICBAR delivered the address of welcome.

Besides, Bangladesh, representatives from Japan, South Korea, China, India, Egypt, New Zealand, Canada, UK, Italy, Bulgaria, Sweden and other countries of the world attended the conference on Reproductive Biotechnology. Fifty research papers and article were presented by the eniment scientists.
