Illegal structures belonging to a former BNP MP were demolished in Jhenidah on Wednesday last.

Sources said, Jhenidah Roads and Highway Department on the day bulldozed all structures owned by former BNP MP and Jhenidah District BNP President Mashiur Rahman.

Mashiur during his tenure built these structures misusing his power on the government land in Jhenidah Poura area.

After State of Emergency Moshiur remained absconding as the Anti-Corruption Commission filed case against him for amassing wealth illegally.
