The 10-day Asian International Trade Expo 2008, a trade show to display various products produced in the Asian countries, has been inaugurated at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city yesterday.

Additional Secretary of the Industries Ministry Elias Ahmed inaugurated the show as the chief guest while President of the American Chamber of Commerce Syed Ershad Ahmed and Group Director of Rahim Afroz Group Munawar Misbah Moin were present as the special guests.

President and Group Managing Director of Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS) Ltd Meherun N Islam chaired the function.
